Late notice
It has taken me a while, but I finally got the money to go and get a new book. Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne shall be the next book on my to do list. I have not yet started it but I anticipate that I shall start with the start of the new upcoming week. That will give me enough time to learn about the author and so much more. Let us continue...

First book defeated!
A good start to a long list of tasks. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, one of the world's most popular novels, was the first book on my To Do list, and it is the first book on my way to victory! If you have seen the movie based off of this book starring Keira Knightley, then you truly need to read this amazing book! Jane Austen made an great novel of a Elizabeth Bennet, an independent, strong girl who has a way with words, and the dashing and arrogant Mr. Darcy as they try to hide their feelings for one another. Along the ride comes many unique characters that make lasting impressions on the minds of everyone who finds the time to read this divine book. There is a writing in the texts in a way that people don't talk any more; for example, " He could not conceive an angel more beautiful.". I couldn't put the description of the book better than the writing on the back cover...
"Humorous and profound, and filled with highly entertaining dialogue, this witty comedy of manners dips and turns through drawing-rooms and plots to reach an immensely satisfying finale."
If I may suggest for my younger viewers, oddly enough, watch the movie first before you read the book. Please consider that the way this book was written was for those who have a incite on the "Old English" as some would say. It would be a great road to travel where you read the book and then see the movie, but I shall not deny that this read is a little tough to see through(take if from a high school student). I shall tell you that the book gives amazing incite on the true ending, as well as details, characters, history, and so much more. It gives great advice that was used then that is still effective in today's times. Out of all the books that I have read in my lifetime, I will give this book a solid 9 out of 10! I'm afraid that I could go on and on about how good this book is, but I wish not to take up all your time when you can just read it and find out for yourself. Let the rave of Austen-mania begin with a bang!

Only my second day....
It might be only my second day on the challenge, but Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books so far! I'm half way through and I started it yesterday night. I'm now aware of why it is the most popular book in the world. Wanna follow along with me? Go out and by the book ASAP! Reach to page 104(Chapter 19) and you shall be at the point where I recently am. I shall continue to read more tonight, though, so be aware. I'll try not to spoil it too much for those who intend to read it once you read my review and tips. Thanks for reading!

Classics Challenge
Welcome, one and all!
In the movie, Julie and Julia, a girl creates a blog that she uses to record her progress while making her way through a cookbook. Although this has nothing to do with cooking, it's enlightened by the same idea. We all love to read some type of genre of book, and we are all familiar with Barnes and Nobel. Well, I have created a little challenge for myself and hopefully you'll be along for the ride as well! I am going to make my way through as many B & N Classics as I can by the end of the next school year. I will keep a list of the books read and a list of all the classics as well. After each book finished, I shall return to this blog and state my opinion of it. If I shall not like a book that doesn't mean it isn't a good book, but it was just not my favorite type of genre. If you wish to receive a book then by all means go down to your local Barnes and Nobel and get it. If you wish to follow along with me on my little adventure then I shall try and keep everyone in touch with my recent reads and my future/next read. Please keep me posted on all the things you would like to say, and your opinion is recommended. Follow me and stay in touch with my latest reads and opinions along with special privileges and incite on the books and topics to follow. Also, I shall not be going in any type of order so do me a favor and if you do read ahead don't spoil it for me! :) My first book to inquire is going to be Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin. Thanks for reading!
